Hope & Equip is proud to partner with Rwanda Children in the development of the Yellow Elephant Coffee Café, a powerful example of moving from dependency toward sustainability. Through a $110,000 investment in land and construction, Hope & Equip helped turn Rwanda Children’s locally grown coffee into a sustainable source of revenue—connecting the journey from plantation to harvest, processing to café, and ultimately income to impact. The café generates resources that can be reinvested into Rwanda Children’s work while creating local opportunity and strengthening its long-term financial foundation. This is empowerment in action: using local resources, developing local capacity, and creating sustainable income that can help transform the lives of children and families for generations.
